Permanent, full-time or possibly consulting position, senior medicare expert and business analyst with advanced systems skills needed for small, private, successful computer software engineering company with complex statistical analysis and internet presentation technology. Headquarters in Saint Louis, MO serving clients across the U.S.
Qualifications include: Substantial technical and business expertise in the Medicare Risk Adjustment space. Actuarial or financial analysis experience. Proven ability in developing programming and functional specifications. Familiarity with WEB based software development, SQL Server, business rules based software and HTML would be a plus. IT Infrastructure knowledge (LAN/ WAN, hardware systems, security strategies, etc) is also desirable but nor essential.
Job responsibilities include writing program specifications, populate and maintain SQL databases, troubleshoot/support incumbent systems, develop complex statistical models, work with outside service providers and consultants for value-adding service features (some internet-based), sensitive client communication via phone/email. Creative collaboration with management and technical staff on system functionality, and careful oversight to protect client interests are expected.
Ideal candidates for this position will have experience managing a small team of technology workers in the "lean/mean" paradigm - ideally in a setting where company growth relies upon fast response to client opportunities. A supportive, collegial and communicative management style is essential.
